Ms. Lavonia Shelton, 86 of Forrest City, died on August 16th, 2017, at Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest City, AR.

Ms. Lavonia was born April 2, 1931 in Forrest City AR, to her father Mr. Claude Jones and her mother Mrs. Monether Lee Jones.

Survivors are her son, Mr. Twerance Shelton of Edmond, OK; her sisters Mrs. Margie Roberts of Forrest City, AR, and Ms. Gwen Jones of Forrest City, AR; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Lavonia Shelton will be at 10:00am on August 23, 2017 at Beth Salem M B Church, Forrest City, AR. Interment will be in Memphis National Veteran Cemetery, Memphis, Tennessee.
